The SPORTSCOM ‘Giving Wings to Dreams’ Conclave 2025, held in New Delhi in August 2025, served as a flagship platform to strengthen India’s sports startup ecosystem by connecting startups with investors, policymakers, and ecosystem enablers. The conclave received over 35 applications from sports startups across sectors such as sports technology, athlete services, analytics, and fan engagement, with the top 10 shortlisted to pitch before leading venture capital firms for funding opportunities of up to USD 2 million. The event also featured policy discussions with senior officials from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and DPIIT on regulatory support, innovation, and scaling sports enterprises globally. It was inaugurated by Ms. Raksha Khadse, opened by Mr. Pullela Gopichand, and concluded with a valedictory address by Mr. Hari Ranjan Rao, Secretary (Sports), MYAS.
